These terms govern your use of taxy.au (the “Website”). Your use of the Taxy platform at app.taxy.au is governed separately by our Cloud Service Agreement (Standard Terms at taxy.au/legal/terms, plus your Cover Page) — not by these terms.

1. Acceptance

By using the Website you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Website.

2. The Website is information only

Content on the Website is general information about Taxy. It is not professional, tax, legal or financial advice, and it is not an offer or a binding quote. We may change or remove content at any time.

3. Acceptable use

Don’t: break the law; interfere with or probe the Website’s security or operation; scrape or harvest at scale; misrepresent your identity; or use the Website to infringe anyone’s rights.

4. Intellectual property

The Website and its content (text, design, logos, the Taxy name) are owned by Taxy or our licensors. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted. “Taxy” and the Taxy logo are trade marks of Taxy Pty Ltd; you must not use them without our prior written permission, except to refer factually to Taxy or our services. All other rights are reserved.

The Website may link to third-party sites we don’t control. We’re not responsible for them.

6. No warranty

The Website is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law (and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, which may give you rights that can’t be excluded), we don’t warrant it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Taxy is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Website. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for breach of such a guarantee can be limited, it is limited — at our option — to re-supplying the relevant information or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal information via the Website is covered by our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction.
